At Teach for Zanzibar (TFZ), we are committed to driving sustainable, community-led transformation through initiatives that focus on education, healthcare, environmental conservation, and gender equality. Each project is developed in close collaboration with local communities to ensure it meets real needs and promotes long-term growth.
How We Solve This Project
Our education programs aim to provide equitable access to quality learning opportunities for children across Zanzibar. We establish and support Community Learning Centers where students can access textbooks, digital tools, and dedicated teachers. Through teacher training workshops and ongoing mentorship, we also strengthen the skills of local educators, helping them create more engaging and inclusive classrooms. Our School Supplies Campaign ensures that children from low-income families receive essential materials, including uniforms and stationery. Additionally, our Tech4Education initiative introduces digital literacy in rural schools, preparing students for the modern world
